Short and plain: Notchify does not collect, sell or share your personal data.

- No advertising, analytics, tracking or telemetry in the app.

- We do not sell or share personal data with anyone.

## What stays on your PC

Your settings, clipboard history, file tray items, notes, to-do items and pinned shortcuts are stored locally on your computer and are never uploaded. To show notifications, Notchify reads Windows notifications on your device with your permission; they are kept in memory and cleared when the app closes. Diagnostic logs are written to a local folder (%AppData%\Notchify\Logs) and only leave your PC if you choose to send them to us.

## When Notchify connects to the internet

Some features need online data. Each request only contains what is needed for that feature:

- **Weather widget:** the city you set, or, if you did not set one, your approximate location is determined by the weather service from your IP address, together with your language.

- **Song lyrics:** the title, artist, album and length of the song that is playing are sent to a lyrics service to find matching lyrics. You can turn lyrics off in Settings.

- **Website shortcuts:** the domain name of a website you pin as a shortcut is used to fetch its icon.

These third-party services receive your IP address as part of any internet request and have their own privacy policies. Notchify does not send them any identifier for you.

## Purchases

Notchify is sold through the Microsoft Store. Payments and licensing are handled by Microsoft under the Microsoft Privacy Statement; we do not receive your payment details.

## This website

This site does not use cookies, analytics or trackers. It loads the Inter font from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the font is downloaded. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs for security.
