Short description

Notchify is a Dynamic Island for Windows 10 and 11: music with synced lyrics, notifications, clipboard history, a file tray, screen recording and 20+ widgets in one island at the edge of the screen.

Long description

Notchify brings the Dynamic Island idea to Windows. A small island sits at the top of the screen, or any edge or corner, and opens into the tool you need: a music player with synced lyrics, Windows notifications, clipboard history you can drag into other apps, a file tray, screen recording and more than twenty widgets. It is a native app that draws with the GPU at up to 240 Hz, available in 10 languages on the Microsoft Store since April 2026. Notchify is made by Kingpindev.

Features

  • Media controls. Album art, play and pause, skip, scrub, shuffle and repeat for any app that uses Windows media controls.
  • Synced lyrics. Karaoke-style lyrics on the island and full lyrics in the player. Click a line to jump there.
  • Notifications. Real Windows notifications as compact popups, plus a panel to swipe them away or open the app.
  • Clipboard history. Recent text, links, images and files. Pin, delete, or drag them straight into other apps.
  • File tray. Drop files on the island to hold them, then drag them out wherever you need them.
  • Screen recording. Record your screen with system audio and your mic. The island stays out of the video.
  • Bluetooth and battery. Connect and disconnect alerts with battery levels for supported devices, including BLE.
  • 20+ widgets. Weather, calendar, to-do, notes, timers, Pomodoro, world clock, lyrics and more.
  • Audio output switcher. Change your default speakers or headphones in one tap.
  • Control Center. Volume and brightness sliders with mute and theme tiles.

  • App shortcuts. Pin your favorite apps, folders, files and websites.
  • Privacy indicators. See at a glance when your microphone or camera is in use.
  • 14 themes and an editor. Notch or Island style, blur, corner shapes, layouts and a full custom theme editor.
  • Anywhere, on any screen. Eight positions: any edge or corner. Pick a display, or let the island follow your cursor from screen to screen.
  • Native and smooth. Not Electron. GPU-accelerated animations up to 240 Hz and light on CPU when idle.
  • Hover to Show. Keep the desktop clean: the island appears when your cursor reaches its edge of the screen.
  • 10 languages. English, Turkish, French, Russian, Spanish, German, Japanese, Chinese, Arabic and Azerbaijani.
