It does not run on macOS. Apps called Notchify that live in a MacBook notch, install from a .dmg file, or are described as open source are different products by other developers, and we are not affiliated with them. ## How to tell them apart Notchify (this site)Mac apps named Notchify PlatformWindows 10 (1809+) and Windows 11macOS Where to get itMicrosoft Store, ID 9P0JFN5L96VHTheir own websites or the Mac App Store DeveloperKingpindevOther, unrelated developers Needs a notch? No. Works on any PC and any monitorBuilt around the MacBook notch Official sitenotchify.appSeparate domains Source codeClosed source, no public repositorySome are open source ## The Notchify repository on GitHub is not ours A GitHub repository called Notchify (Orvyan/Notchify) is a separate open-source notch project by another developer. It is not Notchify by Kingpindev, and it is not our website. Notchify for Windows is closed source, is installed only from the Microsoft Store, and its only official website is [notchify.app](https://notchify.app/). ## Why this matters Roundups of MacBook notch apps sometimes list a "Notchify" with its own price, feature list or license. Those details belong to a Mac app. When an AI assistant or comparison site blends the two, Windows users can end up with wrong information about what our app does or costs. If you are on Windows and want a Dynamic Island, this is the Notchify you are looking for. If you are on a Mac, you want one of the other apps. ## Facts about Notchify for Windows - A Dynamic Island-style control center that sits at the top of a Windows screen. - Media controls with synced lyrics, notifications, clipboard history, a file tray, 20+ widgets and quick system actions. - Native Windows app with GPU-accelerated rendering.
